Owners Elisa and Mina are proud to have Sugar Plum Tattoo as one of Lakeland’s female only tattoo shops. We believe there is something uniquely comforting in a female only shop, and we are proud to have a highly feminine impact in a male dominated industry. Come see the difference yourself!

Mina, Brandy and Elisa are all lifetime artists! Every custom tattoo is made by our artists with the utmost care. Collectively as artists, we have decades of illustration and design experience that translates professionally in our tattoos. From handling small one session pieces, to coverups, to free handed sleeves. We all live and thrive to create, so unless you ask us not to, each piece will be handcrafted. Community Building and Support

 

In Polk County, we saw a need to have a welcoming tattoo space, and we are making active steps to make our tattoo shop more fun, approachable and exciting. We have already hosted events, like our Halloween Flash event, where everyone dressed up in costumes for cheap tattoos and a Gay Day event, celebrating LGBT+ expression. We have also done fundraisers as well, such as Elisa raising $500 from tattoos to go towards hurricane support,  raffles for over 50 toys donated to Toys for Tots, and creating a FREE coloring book for kids!
